Before you become too invested in my opinion, I feel compelled to admit a few things. First, you will realize that I am a simple man with simple passions. Hot beverages of all kinds—I don’t discriminate—bring me happiness, especially when sitting in a rocking chair with a book. I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am in; as long as those circumstances include coffee in the morning, tea in the evening, a rocking chair, and a book. Second, I have a diverse bailiwick of interest. Economics, art, politics, theology, and the many applications of duct tape—I can’t get enough of it. You know what they say, “Jack of all trades and master of none.” Third, because there is a growing list of things about which I know nothing, I am attempting to climb out of an abyss of ignorance. I find thinking out loud helps; thus, I write.
Additionally, I am married to a beautiful woman, Spencer. We reside in Louisville where I am working on an MDiv at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
